A good take settles half the mix.
Recording is as much about direction as it is about technique. Placing the mic is the easy part. Getting the right performance at the right moment, in a room where the artist feels comfortable, is where the real work happens.
We run the session: choosing takes, feeding back straight away, coaching the performance where it's needed. You leave with clean tracks, edited and ready to mix.
When a project needs a particular acoustic — drums, an ensemble, a grand piano — we hire the right room and handle all the technical side on site.
Preparation
We agree the material, the tempos, the references and how the day will go. A prepared session moves twice as fast.
Setting up
Choosing and placing mics, setting up foldback, checking what you hear. The artist settles in while the technical side disappears.
Recording
Directed takes, honest feedback, performance coaching. We record until we get the take that says something.
Selection and editing
Choosing the best takes, comping, cleaning up. The tracks go to the mix clean and labelled.

The studio grows project by project. When a session calls for a room or an instrument we don't have, we rent what's needed and handle the logistics.
Where do the sessions happen?
At our studios in Angers (135 rue de la Madeleine), Brussels (8 avenue Jeanne, Ixelles) or Berlin (Finowstraße 8A). We choose the right one for your project together.
What session formats do you offer?
Half a day, a full day, or a creative weekend for projects that need you to get properly stuck in. The quote sets out the right format for your track.
Can I bring my own musicians?
Yes. We run the session with your band, and we can also recommend players from our network if something is missing.
What should I prepare before I come?
Your demos, your lyrics, the tempo of each track, and two or three reference recordings. We send a simple prep list when you book.
