From a quick tidy to a full rescue: clean-up, recovery of damaged takes, and rebuilding tracks.
If it was recorded, it can almost always be saved.
Hiss, mains hum, clicks, a voice caught from too far away. Most faults can be treated. We restore recent takes that have gone wrong and old recordings alike, analogue tape and old masters included.
The work runs from a simple clean-up — noise reduction, declicking, gain correction — to advanced restoration: spectral repair, recovery of degraded takes, remastering from archives.
And when the source really is too far gone, we rebuild the track. Resynthesis of what's been lost, reprogramming it as it was, re-recording the missing parts, then a remix and a remaster. You get a new version that's faithful to the original.
Diagnosis
You send the file, we listen to it closely, and we tell you straight what can be recovered, how, and what it will cost.
Clean-up
Noise reduction, declicking and depopping, gain and spectral correction. The track becomes listenable again.
Rebuilding
For the critical cases: resynthesis of what's been lost, reprogramming, re-recording the missing parts. The track gets rebuilt layer by layer.
Finishing
A remix where it's needed, then a remaster. You get a clean file, ready to be listened to, archived or re-released.

The studio grows project by project. When a session calls for a room or an instrument we don't have, we rent what's needed and handle the logistics.
What kinds of recordings do you restore?
Damaged studio takes, live recordings, rehearsal tapes, dictaphone recordings, analogue tape, old masters. Send the file as it is, however bad. Working out what's wrong with it is our job.
My final mix is unusable and I've lost the multitracks. What now?
That's something we deal with regularly. Depending on the state of the file, we either work directly on the mix, or rebuild the track: resynthesis, reprogramming and re-recording the elements, until there's a new version faithful to the original.
Can you rebuild a whole track?
Yes. When the source is too degraded, we recreate the elements one by one: resynthesised sounds, parts replayed or reprogrammed, vocals re-recorded if the artist is available. The result is a new master you can put out on streaming or as a reissue.
How do you price it?
After we've diagnosed the file. Depending on the case we charge per file, per hour of processing, or per project for full rebuilds. You know what's possible and what it costs before we start.
